Next, visit the magnificent Garni Temple — the only surviving pagan temple in the region, dating back to the 1st century AD. Standing proudly above the Azat Gorge, Garni reflects Armenia’s pre-Christian history and Greco-Roman architectural influence.

Continue to the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, a masterpiece partially carved into the surrounding rock cliffs. The monastery’s mystical atmosphere, ancient chapels, and remarkable acoustics make it one of Armenia’s most impressive spiritual sites.

The highlight of the day is a hands-on Lavash Baking Master Class in a local village home. Learn how to prepare and bake Armenia’s traditional flatbread in an underground tonir oven. Participate in the process, taste freshly baked lavash with local cheese and herbs, and experience warm Armenian hospitality.
